How Can i get There ?

The best and most convenient way to get to Taghazout from Agadir Airport or Bus station is by an organized pick-up that we can arrange for you if requested. When arriving to Taghazout, by car, taxi or bus, you will arrive to the village’s main square, which is a big road that leads through the village. When arriving, look out for the mosque (biggest building) which is located right at the beginning of the village. Very next to the mosque lies a road where you can find the Pharmacy, then just walk up that road of the pharmacy until you find the laundry that is at a corner, there you will take a right and then immediately another right and you will see the Roof House Entrance in front of you. When having any trouble, you can ask around the locals for the Pharmacy and they will happily assist you in finding the way – if still confused feel free to give us a call and we will guide you!

Where can I get cash?

The official Moroccan currency is Dirham (MAD). There are plenty of ATM’s in Agadir and of course at the airport. There are no ATM’s in Taghazout , the nearest is in Aourir, five minutes’ drive from Taghazout, you can also find an exchange facility there.

Do I need visa to get into the country?

Most of you (e.g. American or EU passport holders) can just get their passports stamped on arrival at border control, which is valid for up to 90 days. Your passport needs to be valid for at least another 6 months on date of arrival, though. Check out your government’s further advices and have a look at MOROCCO.COM for further passport/visa information.

What else can I do but surfing?

The beautiful Paradise Valley is definitely worth a day trip, also Essaouira and Agadir as well as some of the market places in the area. We also organize quad bikes, camel or horse rides.

What food are you serving?

We serve delicious food, we usually prepare mixture of Moroccan and international dishes. Some people have special requirement, which we totally understand. Let us know in advance so we can take in into account and make exactly what you need.

What about solo travellers?

There are lots of people who stay at Roof House by themselves and they have a great time. There are always other travellers where you can hang out with, making new friends goes easily here.

Can I bring my children?

Yes, of course, they are more that welcome.
